The story of Lu\u010dka olive oil begins long before the first bottle of olive oil. It begins on the family farm at the foot of De\u010di\u0107i, in the Tu\u0161ko Polje area, where our ancestors planted the first olive trees many decades ago and built a relationship with the land over generations that today forms the foundation of everything we do.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This special climate, between the Cijevna River and Lake Skadar, has a strong Mediterranean character. The sun, stone, wind and fertile soil shape the landscape, but also the character of the olive tree that grows here. On our property today there are approx 1,500 autochthonous and carefully selected varieties of olives<\/strong>, from which Lu\u010dka extra virgin olive oils and other olive products are created.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Name Lu\u010dka<\/strong> is also deeply connected to this area. For centuries, family estates at the foot of the De\u010di\u0107 Mountains were irrigated by water canals that led from the old mill on the Rujela River. Our ancestors called these canals ports<\/strong> \u2014 and from that part of family and local history came the name that our brand bears today.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The harvest is carefully planned to ensure that the olives are picked at the optimum ripeness. After harvesting, the fruits are transferred to our own oil mill and processed on the same day, thereby preserving their freshness, aroma and natural character. Today, Lu\u010dka combines what generations before us learned about the olive with a modern approach to production.<\/p>

Our olive grove is therefore not only a place of production. It is a place where you can get to know the entire olive path \u2014 from the tree and the fruit to the extra virgin olive oil. It is precisely through walks on the property and tastings that we want to bring the history of olive cultivation, the method of production and the uniqueness of the climate from which Lu\u010dka comes to the visitors.<\/p>

Every bottle of Lu\u010dka carries a part of this place with it.<\/strong> The land of Tu\u0161ko Polje, the Mediterranean sun, family heritage and olive trees that have become part of our identity over generations.<\/p>
